We are looking for the right fit to join our search engine optimization team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to create, sharpen, and expand your current skill set in the search engine marketing and online reputation management fields.

This position will expose you to search engine optimization and online reputation management (SEO/ORM) services, as well as website optimization. This position has the opportunity to work in any and all of the following areas:

Responsibilities:

• Marketing on Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other search engines.
• Viral marketing strategy and execution.
• Research, create, and revise keyword lists.
• Make specific content and layout recommendations for a range of websites.
• Utilize Google Analytics and other analytics packages (previous experience with analytics packages a plus).
• Analyze campaign performance and strategy in a team environment.
• Implement link-building strategies.
• Develop web copy for our client base.
• Utilize Google Webmaster Tools and Website Optimizer (previous experience with these tools a plus).
• Research and design specific strategies for online reputation management.
• Write and optimize press releases, articles, and other marketing materials.
• Design contests/promotions/giveaways and pitch to relevant websites, news sites, and blogs.
• Create mock-ups for website layout recommendations.
• Implement basic optimization changes on a site, i.e. title tag, meta description, alt text, etc.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Currently, we are looking for someone with a strong skill set and relevant work experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Search Engine Optimization: This includes education, hands on experience, or a general background in this field. Experience in keyword research, website analysis, web coding (HTML, CSS, etc.), and public relations outreach is a plus.
• Web experience/development: A basic knowledge of HTML and CSS coding, as well as JavaScript. W3C compliance, experience with various content management systems (primarily Joomla, Wordpress, and 3D Cart), basic Photoshop (or other equivalent programs), and web database experience.
